The engine which should have more or less slid in, refused to co-operate, to the extent that the mounting struts broke off, then buckled after a refit, with the damage being caused to the paint, and the fact that this was stressing the joins on the fuselage, I have decided to go for a closed engine bay. The jet pipe has been prised off and fitted into the tail cone, and the rest of the engine I will refurbish and display alongside the finished kit.
