A new glaze

With the autogyro complete attention turns back to the other builds

The glazing is ready to go in the Sea King, and I have decided to switch from My usual fixative, krystal kleer, for something new – ZAP 546, I have had several batches now that have been of very poor quality, lumpy product of late, and am fed up returning to get good ones. So, time for a change.

it applies very easily, and “Grabs” surprisingly quickly, as I discovered when, after 15 minutes I had to prise it all apart because I had forgotten to fit the overhead console. You will also notice the roof panels are subtly tinted. Looking at reference pictures the tint on the variant I have gone for appears grey rather than the usual green, so I have used film rather that transparent paint, I did commit to trying it after previous comments on this blog, but after some experimentation I have found that the paint is a) Not transparent, b) a ridiculously bright shade. So I will stick with what I know works
