Last year Airfix started a project (Kit Starter) to gauge interest in re-releasing some very old kits. The only one that garnered enough interest to justify a release was this, hence the plain packaging.
the plastic itself is modern, though the moulds ancient, and clearly refurbished judging by the minimal amount of flash present
The instructions are a facsimile of the original, how I miss the written explanations that used to come in every kit. Only one colour scheme, a pity as the kit was offered at various times in a red white colour scheme of the Queens flight as well.
The decals are thoroughly modern though.
