Devilish detail

With the main decals set I have turned to the stencilling underneath the Hunter

First complaint is that the placement diagrams are the usual vague (And in some cases downright wrong, giving the wrong decal numbers for the stencils displayed) but also spread across several different sections.

Add to this the fact the decals are very slow to release, but with a very short handling time, and this becomes a very slow exercise. The two photos above show two sessions over two days with a total labour time of about three hours. The fact that the decals are too thick with a propensity to curl up as soon as they are removed from the backing paper, and to stick to everything apart from the kit they are being placed on has made them frustrating sessions too.
