light relief

Next up the lights

??????????????????????

These are all plated parts, and will remain so. But first the insides are silvered with permanent marker

??????????????????????

and the backs of the side and tail lights.

??????????????????????

headlamps first

??????????????????????

These are glued together with CA with the lenses trapped in place. Because I have used a slow setting CA and there are no locating pegs it has proved tricky getting these to stay aligned till the glue grabs sufficiently

??????????????????????

Next the sidelights

??????????????????????

but this time the lenses need glued in place, the alignment even worse because of the fluted mouldings.

??????????????????????

Then the tail lights, the lenses painted red with permanent marker first

??????????????????????

which does look very effective,
