Airfix Harrier GR3

Now, let’s move on to the GR3

???????????????????????????????

This kit dominates because of it’s size

???????????????????????????????

Which allows for a lot of detail

???????????????????????????????

BUT…

???????????????????????????????

It is a very old kit

???????????????????????????????

and it shows

???????????????????????????????

At times it was a very challenging build

???????????????????????????????

One can’t help but wonder what a modern kit would be like

???????????????????????????????

Probably including the detail I had to add and scratchbuild

???????????????????????????????

I am especially pleased with My modifications to display the engine without removing the wings

???????????????????????????????

Overall though, the finished result is pleasing

???????????????????????????????

Though it’s bulk will make it difficult to display

???????????????????????????????

Given it’s giveaway price, a reasonable kit overall
