another walk back into the archives for this spot the difference.
the bullet proof screen was included way back in issue 1. nicely finished and lacquered to match the bodywork of the car. However in any pictures the screen itself is clearly a much more workaday piece of metal, So, using the aluminium mix for the housing the front and back were given a more industrial look.
The original finish is the top pieces (Again I have spares because of duplicate issues of the first set)
However it all still looked a bit flat, so I used the black wash to darken the flat areas and add a little more definition.
Now these look a whole lot better, more like a heavy sheet of metal attached to a frame.
