The Fire screen is fast reaching its completion.
The paint on the frame has dried to a nice satin finish, and the final parts can be added, in this case simply some felt to avoid damaging any surface it is placed on.
Then the screen itself is slotted into the grooves, with wood glue and nails to hold it securely.
Finally the centre knob is re-instated and the fire screen is complete.
All that is needed now is a glowing fire behind it.
