Cheeky’s Replacement

My favourite car of all time is the Aston Martin DB5. Nothing to do with James Bond (And I believe his was actually a prototype DB6), I just think it is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

One of  My presents from beloved was the Airfix version of this iconic car. Once the mini cheeky is complete then this will become it’s successor, As a child I would have a number of models on the go, in various stages of completion, but now I feel I can do them justice better by focusing on one or two at a time, so, whilst the spitfire is still under construction, one must be finished before another starts. Besides I need time to hunt down reference material.

Now all I need is for real life to reflect modelling and for Cheeky to be superceded by a real Aston!
